A COPY OF THE FORM 990 IS PROVIDED TO ALL DIRECTORS OF THE ORGANIZATION PRIOR TO FILING. THE AUDIT COMMITTEE, WHO HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH THE RESPONSIBILITY OF REVIEWING AND APPROVING THE FORM 990 ON BEHALF OF THE DIRECTORS, REVIEWS AND APPROVES THE FORM 990 PRIOR TO IT BEING FILED. IN ADDITION, MANAGEMENT OF THE ORGANIZATION REVIEWS THE COMPLETED FORM 990 AND FOLLOWS UP WITH THE TAX RETURN PREPARATION FIRM TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO FILING.

THE ORGANIZATION REGULARLY AND CONSISTENTLY MONITORS AND ENFORCES COMPLIANCE WITH THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY. THE WRITTEN CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY IS UPDATED AND PROVIDED TO THE OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS ON AN ANNUAL BASIS.

The organization has entered into an agreement with the Koret Foundation to provide office space, staffing, and administrative services to the organization. This agreement is renewed annually, and is approved by the Chair of the Board of Directors for the organization. The organization reimburses Koret Foundation for compensation paid to its officer. Officer compensation is allocated to the organization based on time expended; and salary rates are set annually based on comparative data of other Bay Area non-profit organizations and approved by the respective organizations' Board of Directors.

THE ORGANIZATION'S AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, GOVERNING DOCUMENTS AND CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY ARE MADE AVAILABLE UPON WRITTEN OR ORAL REQUEST.
